Lenovo is launching the LePad S2005, S2007 and S2010 tablets in Beijing this morning, following on from the K1. The range is likely to be known as the IdeaTab outside of China, but it looks like the model numbers will remain the same. All three devices ship with the W-CDMA bands needed for China's Unicom network.
The 5-inch S2005 occupies the same confusing is-it-a-phone-or-a-tablet space as Dell's Streak 5 and the Samsung Galaxy Note. It runs a skinned version of Android 2.3.5 on an 800 x 480 LTPS display (which touts an impressive 178-degree viewing angle), with a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, and 1GB of RAM.
